The floor cures to full strength, the antimicrobial topcoat is verified, and the housekeeping team receives documentation on compatible disinfection chemicals, scrub equipment, and cleaning frequency.

Why Cove Base Stops Infection at the Wall
The wall-floor junction is the highest-bacteria zone in any medical facility. A traditional baseboard sits against the floor with a small gap between them. Disinfection cannot reach into that gap. Cove base eliminates the gap entirely by curving the floor material up the wall in one continuous piece, so a mop or auto-scrubber can clean the entire transition without hitting a seam.
