The placement challenge
When a Concrete Slab Needs Pumping Equipment
Not every pour site has room for a ready-mix truck to back in and discharge. A residential patio behind a fence, a multi-storey commercial slab, a basement footing through a narrow doorway, or a warehouse floor in a tight industrial lot all require concrete to be moved from the truck to the placement point by another method.
That method is boom pump equipment or line pump systems. A boom uses an articulated arm to reach over obstacles and up multiple storeys. A line pump threads concrete through steel and rubber hose to a placement a truck cannot access.

Assess the site and pour scope
We measure the placement location, confirm the volume and timing, and determine whether a boom or line pump fits the access and height requirements.

Position and test the pump
The pump is positioned on stable ground, stabilisers and outriggers are locked, the hose or boom is run to the placement point, and the system is tested before the ready-mix arrives.

Pump concrete at placement pace
Mix is pumped at the rate the crew needs, the operator controls the boom or hose from the pour point, and the crew screeds and finishes the slab as it flows.

Flush and demobilise
The pump and hose are flushed clean on site to prevent concrete set-up in the lines, then the equipment is loaded and ready for the next job.
